The accommodation was luxurious and modern, looked brand new and was decorated tastefully from the furniture to the cutlery, everything was well thought out. The breakfast on the top floor terrace was always nice, the food offered is homemade and fresh every day, the cakes made from local fruits and the jam is delicious! The location was ok, 15 min walk from Reggio Centrale train station, about 10 mins down the hill to the shops, towards the waterfront and about 1 min walk to the castle. The aircon in the room was a godsend, otherwise it would have been uncomfortably hot. The room is really quiet and very big and spacious. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, providing local restaurants recommendations and transport arrangements to suit our plans. Overall a fantastic stay, i would recommend! My mum and i were incredibly touched by the warmth and hospitality of Paolo and Giuseppe, hopefully we will be back soon!

The host was super helpful and kind. Had a parking space reserved for us right outside the building even though we arrived much earlier than expected. The room was great: large, modern, clean with a wonderful bathroom and shower, slippers, bathrobes. Very comfortable bed. The B&B is just a few blocks from the Castello Aragonese, the Basilica, Corso Garibaldi, the Lungomare, and only 2 kilometers from the archeological museum and Gelateria Cesare! Wonderful restaurants and bars within walking distance yet very quiet at night. Breakfast was very nice in the upstairs area with bright light and gorgeous views. We arrived by car. The location was easy to find, and it was very easy to drive out of the city as well.

The homemade breakfast and fresh coffee each morning on the rooftop terrace was a treat! The room was spacious with a huge bathroom. Two balconies made for a nice breeze, we only used the very quiet in room AC at night. The private wi-fi was an added bonus as well. Al Castello is centrally located, a quick walk to the main streets of Reggio. The staff was friendly and responsive to questions as well.

Lovely small B&B where the owners thought of everything to make guests feel comfortable. Great sheets, pillows, TV with Netflix etc, good breakfast etc. Communication was great and they were so helpful with dining recommendations, taxis etc. Located on a quiet street within easy walking distance to the main sites and pedestrian street.
